friday night... bonding time in room 282! heck yes! then off to the new house, then to adam's party, then to brandon parsons' party where i stayed forever.... with many many foreign alumni soccer players. hahahahah....

saturday consisteed of me getting burnt at a beach volleyball contest, BUT my team won!! we each got $25 gift certicates (me, pete young, warren, and lauren), then a movie with jenna and colleen.
sunday i missed church bc of the time change... then visited brian working, then lunch with desi, then bonding on the west lawn, then off to hungry howies (with a bullet hole through the glass), then to cafe eleven and the beach, then finally to the fort.

so, this wknd was spring blink... which means lots of family bonding, since everyone else is still in school.
all together a good wknd. today was tons of fun bc we had a family get together.. which means that me, my aunts and uncles, and my 20 cousins plus some extended family got together for lunch. here are some of the older cousins...
and my wonderful sisters and me!! we were all kinda dressed the same... it was odd. definately a good wknd.
oh, and i saw "saw". what a great movie. it wasn't the best done movie (acting, filming, etc.), but the story was so good. lots of twists and just such a demented idea. oh, and it definately left open the possibility for a sequel!!!

AHH!! i just saw ISAAC IMPROV!! amazing!!! it was only tim (remember the REALLY hott one) and kyle. but they were awesome! of course i got pulled up there, like ususal. and so did almost everyone of the people i went with.
linds came with me too and she said (once we walked in.. late of course). "wow! we just walked in with the best looking guys." i heart those guys! it was a really small crowd, but so entertaining!

here's tonight...
me and lindsey went to visit brian at del sol.... of course stopping by valet to say hey to andy jones and josh yoast (who, yes, goes to unf, but works in st. augy)
then we decided to be adventurous and drive to jacksonville for moe's... Welcome to Moe's!
and we had many fun times.... and we traveled in brians sweet car!
okay, well after moes we went to see the jacket with adrien brody, i highly recommened it. and then we went to steak n shake.... okay fun story,.....there was a guy sitting by himself in there. he had a full plate of food and he was mumbling to himself. well, anyways long story short, he fell asleep and one of the waitresses "knock over" the please wait to be seated sign... totally on purpose, to wake him up. then he just fell right back asleep. he didn't seem drugged or anything, just a little crazy. he should have been at the institution with john starks (aka adrien brody). okay i'm tired and i have to get up for good news tomorrow! bye now.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS STRIKES BACK!
my night consisted of getting our butts kicked in vball (yet so much fun), racing back to my dorm for a quick shower, running over to caleb's for a short bible study, jumping in caleb's beautiful bright blue saturn vue (i'm so jealous), and then dancing for 3 hrs. while watching 5 bands, which was soo much fun!

last night, i went to panama hattie's with some friends, aymen brought his hookah bar with him! it was so much fun!! my roommates let me dress them up and do their hair and make-up! that's the highlight of my year! i love dressing up!

caleb, me, nathan....kinda fuzzy, but these are some of my favorite guys at flagler.... throw daniel in too!! i was so shocked that they came out! i heart them both!!

this is one of the girls i'm living with next semester... jenna. oh, and all around us is The Point, its a college ministry that gives us lunch after church and then we just hang out and such. oh, and aren't the guys behind us lovely? haha... and they think they're funny. i'm so excited about next semester!!
okay on to another subject... i'm taking way too many credits. at the end of last semester i had completed 19 credits. i'm taking 18 this semester, and i'm going to have to continue to take a million classes if i want to graduate in 8 semesters. for secondary education-social science (my major) it takes 128 credits. its crazy. and many many of those are practicums with lots of extra hours, internship (which takes a complete semester on its own), and other crap. flagler is hard core serious when it comes to its majors. since they have a small selection of majors, they take each one VERY seriously. and flagler is always recognized on resumes that pertain to their majors. owood kids, if you're thinking about flagler, here's the most common majors: any type of education (elementary, secondary(7-12th grade)-social science OR english, exceptional student, deaf, art, etc.), sociology, communications, business, sports management, political science, accounting, pre law, graphic design, journalism, etc.... well, i'm just soo over booked right now. bc i've been dealing with friends and parties and such over my school work (not the smartest idea, but its what i care about). i don't care about sitting in class, although i actually enjoy most of my classes. i really only go to class bc of the ppl in my classes. well, i have two exams on wednesday, so i better go and get started on studying. oh, and i think i'm going home on friday or saturday...bc i have to do laundry. hahahhahaha. okay bye.
ps, i broke another guy's heart. i need to stop doing that. but i didn't even lead him on. we went out twice and had fun, but hes not my type and i REALLY like being single right now. |

so, nothing too exciting has been going on. just lots of studying (which i hate) and lots of just stuff. so the past couple nights i've been hanging out with my friend and its been... well nice. and last night we went out for vday and it was so much fun. it was a double with my sister and josh (although sarah acted like a spoiled little helpless child. it was annoying), but anyways it was fun. i have beautimous flowers in my room too (daisies!!!... bc i HATE and LOATHE roses and carnations). so, tomorrow night i have small group at the hirko's!! and then thursday i have my coed vball league, we rock! and then friday i'm going out with cody again. and then saturday there's this girl thing at the hirko's. we're all going to go over there and just hang out and what not. and then church sunday morning, which i love.
oh, today i talked to the owner of the apartments that me and 4 other girls want to move into, AND we can!! someone's lease is up in july, so in august its ours!!! and so excited! i'm going to go look later in the week with the other girls. and i'm praying that they like it, bc then that means i don't have to worry about where i'm living next semester. eee!!!
okay well i'm smelly from peppering earlier and i need a shower AND i have to write a 7 pg. essay on tsunami prevention (fun.... no) that was due yesterday... so i need to get on that. well the rough draft was due then (we do like a workshop thing in class), well its really due this coming monday, but i have so much to do that i should finish it tonight.
okay well, if anyone wants details about sarah's engagement or anything thats going on, call me. too much to write about. okay well love you all!!

tonight was so much fun!! i went to brandon parson's house (he was out of town though), so it was joe ronchetti and matt cole (ryan cole showed up too)and some flagler guys. it was hilarious to hang out with those guys! so much fun! then i went over to smalls house (like 1:30) to stop in and say hey to whoever was still there. smalls was nowhere to be found but we said hey to the others that were still there. oh, and as i was walking up the stairs to say hey to tucker, ben bishop yelled "weathersby"... hahaha! so funny!! so now i know who he is, and hes so nice and i'm excited to talk to him again. okay now i must shower and such bc church is in the morning!! night yall! |
